II MCC – Women in Computer Science in Colombia
The Women in Computing Chapter of the Colombian Computer Society invites the academic and professional community to submit papers to the 2nd Workshop on Women in Computing in Colombia (II MCC), to be held as part of the 20CCC.
Organization of 20CCC’26
Scientific Committee: Responsible for reviewing and selecting articles. Composed of renowned researchers from Colombian and international universities.
Organizing Committee: Logistical, financial, and communications coordination for the event. Led by the Digital Transformation Department at the Technological University of Bolívar.
Review Committee: Responsible for the peer review process, ensuring the academic quality of all accepted submissions.
Engineering, Web, and Apps: Responsible for design, layout, and the creation of digital resources.

Additional Activities
Competitive Programming Marathon: Teams of three compete by solving algorithmic problems in an ICPC-style format. Open to undergraduate and graduate students.
Master's and Doctoral Symposium (SMD2026): An academic forum designed for master’s and doctoral students to present their progress, preliminary findings, or proposals for ongoing research. The symposium fosters academic dialogue, the exchange of experiences, and feedback from experts and researchers, thereby contributing to the strengthening of research training and the consolidation of collaborative networks.
Software Demonstrations: A space dedicated to showcasing prototypes, applications, platforms, systems, and technological solutions developed by researchers, students, entrepreneurs, and professionals. These demonstrations will provide an opportunity to share applied advancements, showcase functional results, and foster direct interaction with attendees, promoting the exchange of ideas, the validation of proposals, and the identification of collaboration opportunities.
Workshop: A competitive and collaborative space inspired by the evaluation formats of the international scientific community, in which participants tackle predefined problems using common datasets, rules, and evaluation metrics. These challenges aim to compare approaches, promote reproducibility, stimulate innovation, and foster academic discussion on results, methodologies, and lessons learned.
Networking and Social Activities: Spaces designed to foster interaction, the exchange of experiences, and the building of connections among attendees from the academic, business, and institutional sectors. These include activities such as a welcome dinner, a tour of the walled city of Cartagena, and networking events, all aimed at strengthening collaborative networks, promoting new initiatives, and enriching the conference experience in a warm and engaging atmosphere.
